Whether it's about precisely coloring plastics or developing materials according to individual customer specifications: With its award-winning DCIM direct compounding technology, Exipnos GmbH offers users in the automotive industry and other sectors the desired solution with maximum reliability and in the shortest possible time. While it normally takes weeks or months of test cycles to perfectly color-match up to 500 components in a vehicle interior, Exipnos can shorten this process to just a few days and a single cycle. This is because DCIM develops the material directly on the injection molding machine, eliminating time-consuming, error-prone, and energy-intensive granulation and remelting. A win for our clients, their customers – and the environment.

Users will soon be able to benefit from our in-house developed Direct Compounding Injection Molding (DCIM) technology not only in development projects with us, but also in production directly in their own workshops. This process, which has won the Hugo Junkers Innovation Award, will soon be available on the market as a series production system following extensive and successful prototype testing in our technical center.
