POLYKUM e. V. – Organization
The Association for the Promotion of Polymer Development and Plastics Technology in Central Germany – POLYKUM e. V. – was founded on October 30, 2002, and is based in Merseburg (Saxony-Anhalt). The non-profit association sees its most important task as promoting the transfer of knowledge, innovation, and technology, as well as fostering collaboration, particularly among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with the scientific community, and with users along the value chain.
The board
Dr. Patrick Hirsch (Deputy Chairman), Matthias J. Maurer (Treasurer), and Peter Putsch (Managing Chairman, from left to right) were elected to the board of directors of POLYKUM e. V. by the members' assembly on December 10, 2018. The three-member board has been managing the affairs of the association in accordance with its statutes since its re-election in 2022 for another four years until 2026.
